Harvest Bag
This classy Harvest Bag is made by yours truly from premium waxed 12oz waxed canvas. It is sized so a gallon freezer-bag can be used as a liner. The adjustable strap lets you carry it on your shoulder or tighten it up to wear the bag at your waist. The front has two small pockets and a space to conveniently carry a pair of pruners.
Every spring and fall I look forward to harvesting wild medicinal and edible plants and mushroom. It's nice to have a bag to store them in while moving through the bush. Those of you who've harvested Nettles know what I mean. When harvesting Elder Berries I use the shears to snip the entire cluster of berries. When the freezer bag is full I seal it, set it aside, then put another one in Harvest bag and continue collecting.
I made these first for myself and as a gift for a friend. (I know, I know, Jason. Yes, the pillow cases worked just fine, but these have so much more style.)
I suspect these may be popular. After the ones I've made are sold I'll make them to order.
Note: Pruner is not included. Here is the pruner I use and like very much.
