Pack Trivet

I have a secret... I love watching cooking videos. Not your modern kitchen cooking videos, no. I really enjoy watching cooking done in primitive conditions with open fires and open land. My favorite come from Azerbaijan, Mongolia, and India.

Watching people cook amazing meals in enormous pots on trivets which looked to be made of welded rebar inspired me to make a trivet that is a lot more convenient to carry.

The Pack Trivet is made from 304 stainless steel. As the name implies it packs away in three pieces and weighs less than 6 oz.  It is designed to support large pots and dutch ovens and be placed over coals or have a fire kindled beneath it.

As this is my first run any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I see larger versions in the future and perhaps a whole system of cookware and accessories centered on the Pack Trivet.
