Perfect

After substantial research for an ultralight stove I settled in this product. I recently received it and after using it on several occasions in different conditions I have to say it lives up to its reputation. Absolutely phenomenal for what it is designed for. If you are looking for the lightest, most efficient stove out there this is it. This is the second time ordering products from emberlit and the customer service is wonderful. Quality control is perfect, fast shipping and great innovative products. 10 out of 10!

Terrific! Don’t leave home without it!

I’ve got the original and also the Fire Ant, both in Titanium. They both do a great job, one just a little larger, for bigger pots and pans. Have never needed any extra “pot stands” … it just plain works the way it was designed. Assembly and disassembly take under a minute. They both have plenty of draft if used as shown in Mikhail’s videos, and have no pesky coals falling out the bottom to scorch anything. After use, if I’ve burned twigs, I wipe the inside of the parts down with some dirt or sand or leaves, which is very easy to de because it all comes apart - and poof! any soot is gone! (You can also wash the parts down streamside with a little gravel, and since it’s Titanium, it won’t rust.; same with the stainless version, I’d assume.). Also have used the Fire Ant not just with twigs, but also with both Esbit fuel and a Trangia spirit burner, and it works fine with those also. (Fire Ant is a little small to use with Trangia simmer ring, but this is not much of a problem, since I don’t use that accessory very much anyway.) Weighs nothing, takes up nearly zero room in any pack … what’s not to like? I love ‘em both and don’t go hiking without one or the other.

Effective and efficient but only if used properly

I bought one after watching many youtube vids and trialled it same way. Smoke like crazy. Tried drilling more airholes Hopeless, gave it away. Mug damped the flames and smoke and tar.

Bought and made other stoves - and learnt a lot.

Several years later and much smarter bought another Ti one again and tralled it with potstands. It works!! BUT! only if fired in certain way (critical), and only if an additional potstand used.
Lessons-
Dont fill the fire box as per most youtubes. Nope.
Instead get 4-5 long sticks (about 12” and thinner than yr little finger), and use the feedport to insert them one you have a flame. . Start the fire with tiny twigs, then add the long fuel sticks into the fire through the fuel port with butt resting on the ground. The upwards angle of the fuel aka stivks is critical. As is the oxygen in an uncrowded fire box.
Use a pot stand on top of the stove to give 20mm separation.
No smoke! Perfect burn. Just keep pushing the long sticks in, as they burn. Easy, very convenient. Dry hard sticks burn hot, boils 2 cups in 4:30. Wet eucalyptus sticks burns slower boils 2 cups 7 mins.
Use a windshield/ wind break.

Best UL stove on market!

Bought this stove in beginning of 2015 and love it. Super light, yet durable. Burns super efficient. I use esbit cubes for cooking but isn’t necessary if you wanted to go even lighter and just burn twigs to cook. A backpacking must have!

Great product

I bought the EmberLit FireAnt Titanium stove a little over a year ago and I really love it. It packs down so small I can easily carry it in my pants cargo pocket and it is very light and durable. I also purchased the Spirit Stove to use with the FireAnt, a great add-on. We recently had a power outage in my area and I was finally able to show my wife the real value of all my preps. We made our meals on the FireAnt and it was great! Thanks guys, keep up the great work!!!
